About Me & This Site

Hey, I'm u/13Krytical on Reddit. I was collecting Cardsmith Currency cards and needed a better way to track my collection. So I built this.

Tech: VSCode on my MacBook, GitHub for version control, Cloudflare Pages for hosting, and Claude for development assistance.

I'm not a developer. When I first wanted to make websites, I'd grab HTML5 templates and manually type everything out...slow, frustrating, lots of Googling. When ChatGPT came out, I started experimenting with AI assistance. These days I work primarily with Claude. The workflow just clicks.

I describe what I want, we iterate together, I test everything, it works. It's not magicβ€”I still need to understand problems, make decisions, and know when to ship. But it's way more efficient than fighting with CSS documentation for hours.

Some people think using AI is "cheating." I think working with AI effectively is a skill. You need to communicate clearly, evaluate solutions, and adapt when things break. That's valuable.

Here's the truth: AI won't take your job. But someone who knows how to use AI will. Learning to leverage these tools is worth your time.

This site is proof you don't need a CS degree to build something functional. You just need curiosity and the right tools.

Build stuff. Ship it. Learn as you go.
